This was a crazy month! We took our first big road trip with the kids...drove up to Michigan and Ohio for Thanksgiving. The kids did very well in the car, we were surprised that they did as well as they did. Even with stopping every two to three hours to nurse Alina, change diapers, let Aiden stretch his legs and eat we still managed to make pretty good time. We will probably drive on all future trips, at least until the kids are much older. We were gone a total of 13 days. Alina got to meet her Aunt and Uncle for the first time along with her cousins and Great Grandparents. Aiden played hard with his cousins and Aunt and Uncle and gave his Aunt Heather a special nickname. We started our trip up in Michigan staying with Keith and Heather for the first week then we all drove to Ohio and stayed there for the remainder of the trip. We had a great time and were sad to come leave. We slways enjoy our visits and wish we were closer so we could see everyone more often.
This month Alina started sleeping in her crib, I finally gave in and moved her out of our room and into her own. She seems to sleep better in there so I guess it was time. It is so hard to believe that my baby girl is already 3 months old!
Aiden is still a wonderful big brother and just adores his little sis. He is constantly kissing her and trying to help out with her...he wants to help dress her, change her diapers and has recently tried picking her up (when no one is looking). I've learned that I have to keep a close watch on him!
